In February 2019, it was place on the hearts of founders, Edmond and Quentina Attipoe, for a mission in the Volta Region of Ghana. Edmond was honored to participate as part of the medical team at the Joy FM Easter Soup Kitchen in April.

In July 2019, Agape Ghana established and began by partnering with a local clinic to provide screening kits for malaria, hepatitis B, and diabetes, as well as health education. Through this connection fourteen (14) screening clinics were able to be scheduled. With each clinic held, there were positive results for malaria and hepatitis B.

In September 2019, things began to move full speed ahead, we were presented a location of the clinic and ministry. This plot of land has access to a main roadway and electricity and is centrally located to 20 different villages in the Volta Region of Ghana. With provision supplied to our family by our Heavenly Father, we have been able to purchase the land and make a commitment to the community surrounding Tsito Awudome. The purchase of this land means the beginning of many individual projects for the next several years, such as a bore hole (or well), a building for the clinic and laboratory, as well as housing for patients and staff, will need to be completed before the clinic will be fully functioning as we envision.

As you can see there is a lot happening…

While Quentina is in the United States building a prayer team, an advisory board and fundraising. Edmond is busy in Ghana with our team contacting the area chiefs and elders, making arrangement for health screenings in the Volta Region to begin in the villages.

Through the support of those who have sown into the ministry, Agape Ghana has been able to conduct screening clinics, provide funding for medical care for individuals, and help financially support patients and their families during recovery.

We are prayerfully hoping to take our first small mission team in 2020 to learn more about our vision and the pray over the land and the region. Please be in prayer as to whether you, your church or organization are being called to be a part of AGAPE Ghana and if so in what way.

We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
